Financial, Dress Code, and Admission Policies

Financial Policies:
 
The annual tuition may be paid in its entirety or in ten consecutive monthly payment beginning on August 1.  A late fee of $20 will be charged if tuition is received after the 5th of the month.  No report cards will be issued or released until all fees and tuition have been paid.  Diplomas may be withheld until all that is owed to the school had been remitted.  The following are the various charges of the school:
 
    Registration Fee:  $100.00 (per student) This is a one-time fee as long as the student attends consecutive years of school.
 
    Matriculation/Book Rental Fee: $200.00 (annually per student)  (It should be understood that the books belong to the school and not to the students.   The fee is simply a type of rental of these books.)
 
The registration and the matriculation/book rental fees are non-refundable.
 
 
Tuition Costs:
K-4 (Half Day) $1,600.00
K-5 (Full Day) $1,900.00
Elementary (Grades 1-6) $2,100.00
Junior & Senior High $2,200.00
 

Family Plans:

Enrolling 2 Children $3,900.00
Enrolling 3-4 Children $4,200.00
Enrolling 5-6 Children $4,800.00
Enrolling 7 or more Children $5.500.00
 

 

Study Hall:  $20.00 per week or $5.00 daily per family.  Hours are from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. 

 

Kindergarten and High School Graduation Fees:  A minimum of $30.00 

Fees may be charged for the following as needed:

Dress Code

Believing that a well-disciplined environment sets the stage for proper learning, WRCA desires to maintain an atmosphere free of chaos and disorder.  We wish to provide an environment that promotes and produces achievement and development of self control.  With this goal in mind, along with a desire to honor the Lord Jesus Christ, we have decided to institute a “similar dress” policy.  All “similar dress” items must be purchased from the school.  The needed items are as follows:

 

K – Grade 6                 Girls - Uniforms—Check with office on style number

                                               Dark solid polo shirts

                                               Coordinating fold down ankle socks or knee socks

                                               Tights may be worn in the winter time

                                               Plain Tennis Shoes (no lights, characters or excessive writing)

                                    Boys - Docker-styled pants and dark solid polo shirts

                                               Plain Tennis Shoes (no lights, characters or excessive writing)

                                   

Grades 7-12                 Girls - Uniforms—Check with office on style number

                                               Dark solid polo shirts

                                               Casual dress shoes and pantyhose

                                               Boys - Docker-styled pants and dark solid polo shirts

                                               Casual dress shoes

Other dress requirements are as follows:

1. Proper undergarments are recommended at all times.
2. Earrings may be worn by girls; however, there should be one earring per ear in the lower lobes. Earrings must be studs, no larger than a dime. No hoops or dangle earrings will be permitted. No other body piercing or tattooing is allowed. Boys are not allowed to wear necklaces, earrings or bracelets. Boys may wear a watch.
3. The toes and heels of girls’ shoes should be closed. Sandal may not be worn.
4. When needed, sweaters, vests, or jackets may be worn, No logos.  In the classroom, students may wear a plain blue fleece jacket.
5. Young men must be clean shaven at all times. Side burns may be worn no lower than the middle of the ear. Hair must be above the collar, above the ears, and above the eyebrows. Hair must not be bushy, shaggy, or long enough to curl up in the back. No designs are to be cut into the hair. As a general rule, hair styles must be approved by the administration.
6. Girls in K—6th grades may not wear make-up or nail polish. Girls in grades 7th—12th may wear light, conservative make—up. Excessive, bright, or heavy eye make-up lipstick will not be permitted. Nail polish may be worn by girls in 7th—12th grades. Only light shades will be permitted. Shades of blue, green, orange, black etc. will not be permitted.
7. Girls’ and Boys’ shirts must be tucked in and buttoned (except for the top button) at all times. Boys must wear a belt.
8. Boys must wear socks that can be seen when sitting.

THE ADMINISTRATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE JUDGMENT CALLS ON ALL ISSUES OF DRESS OR GROOMING INCLUDING ANY ISSUES NOT LISTED IN THIS HANDBOOK.

 
 
Admission Policy:
 
No student will be denied admission because of race, color, or national or ethnic origin.  Students will be accepted, all other things being equal, in the order of the dates their completed applications are received.
 
Children entering K-5 must be five years old and children entering grade one must be six years old before September 1 of the entry year.  Student transferring into grades three and above may be required to take an entrance test to aid in placement and, regardless of age, will be placed according to academic ability.  The registration fee must be paid before the test will be administered.
 
The following are required for enrollment into school:
 
1.        A completed and signed ( by both parents, if possible) application
2.        A copy of immunization records
3.        A copy of the birth certificate and social security card
4.        A completed 'Emergency Data Form"
5.        A completed "Medical Information and Consent Form"
6.        A signed "Parent-Student Behavior Agreement" and "Pledge of Cooperation"
7.        An interview with the principal
8.        Paid registration and matriculation/book rental fees (non-refundable)
 
WARNER ROBINS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IS A PRIVATE INSTITUTION AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SET AND MAINTAIN ITS OWN STANDARDS FOR STUDENT DRESS AND CONDUCT.  WE MAINTAIN THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMITTANCE OR RE-ADMITTANCE TO ANYONE WHO FAILS TO MEET ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS.
